Guna Collagen Mesotherapy
Advanced collagen mesotherapy solutions for skin rejuvenation and tissue repair
MD-Tissue
Porcine collagen-based medical device (Class III) for pronounced wrinkles and connective-tissue repair
Collagen for pronounced wrinkles & tissue repair
MD-TISSUE is a collagen-based medical device for intradermal use (linear injections or wheals between wrinkles). Its excipients create a protective barrier against free radicals and counteract connective-tissue ageing.
Composition
Porcine collagen · Vitamin C · Vitamins B1 – B2 – B6 · Magnesium gluconate.
Treatment Cycle
3–5 injection sessions — first 3 sessions every 15 days, remaining 2 sessions after 30 days.
Indications
- Pronounced wrinkles — face, neck, forehead, décolleté
- “Barcode” lines (2 mm; 30G or 32G needle; repeated cycles every 2–3 weeks over 2–3 months)
- Fine and linear forehead wrinkles (where botulinum toxin is not indicated, or as a complementary treatment)
- Mild, straight forehead wrinkles
- Scars and stretch marks
- Post-acne imperfections
- Skin laxity and loss of tone
Key Excipients
- Vitamin C— collagen biosynthesis & antioxidant
- Magnesium gluconate— protein metabolism & collagen synthesis
- Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)— cellular energy (ATP)
- Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)— energy metabolism, protection from oxidative damage
- Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)— energy balance & amino-acid metabolism
MD-Matrix
Porcine collagen-based medical device (Class III) for localised adiposity & firming
Firming the subcutaneous connective-tissue layer
MD-MATRIX is intended to firm the subcutaneous and microvascular connective-tissue layer in localised adiposity and connective-tissue fibroedematous gynoid excesses — particularly those located at the root of the thighs and the inner knee area.
Composition
Porcine-derived collagen · Citric acid · Nicotinamide · Sodium chloride · Water for injections.
Treatment Cycle
3–5 injection sessions — first 3 sessions every 15 days, remaining 2 sessions after 30 days.
Indications
- Localised adiposity — thighs, gluteal region, submental area, arm laxity
- Skin hyperpigmentation — hands, face, neck, décolleté
Key Excipients
- Citric acid— pH regulator, chelating & keratolytic; supports cell renewal
- Nicotinamide— moisturising, antioxidant; stimulates collagen & elastin; evens skin tone
Studies
Scientific evidence supporting the efficacy and safety of the Guna collagen medical devices
Mechanism of action — MD-TISSUE
In vitro study on human tenocytes. MD-TISSUE collagen stimulated tenocyte growth at 72 h and, after 24 h, promoted wound healing by inducing cell migration toward the lesion and repair of damaged tissue.
Randelli et al. Effect of a Collagen-Based Compound on Morpho-Functional Properties of Cultured Human Tenocytes. Cells 2018;7(12):246.
Mechanical scaffold — MD-TISSUE
MD-TISSUE acts as a mechanical scaffold: it enhances focal-adhesion formation and cell-migration capacity, and triggers mechanotransduction — supporting tendon healing in tendinopathies.

Localised adiposity — MD-MATRIX
Acumesotherapy with injectable collagen in patients with localised adiposity of the knees (observational study), and with Guna MD-MATRIX in localised abdominal adiposity.
